"Mereka ada yang sudah satu tahun bekerja, ini masih kami cari keterangan," kata Kombes Nurullah, Selasa, 2 Agustus 2016.
Selain tidak memiliki dokumen resmi, Nurullah mengatakan bahwa keberadaan pekerja ilegal asal Tiongkok ini diamankan karena keberadaannya sudah meresahkan masyarakat sekitar.
Yang lebih mengherankan lagi, dari pengakuan 70 pekerja ilegal Tiongkok ini kepada penyidik, mereka rata-rata digaji oleh perusahaan yang mempekerjakan mereka sebagai buruh kasar di Banten sebesar Rp15 juta per bulan.
Kondisi sebaliknya justru dialami buruh warga sekitar, yang juga bekerja sebagai buruh kasar di pabrik tersebut. Warga lokal hanya digaji Rp2 juta per bulannya.
"Mirisnya, tenaga kerja asal kita (Indonesia) hanya digaji Rp2 juta per bulan. Rata-rata per hari Rp80 ribu, sedangkan TKA rata-rata per hari Rp500 ribu," ujar Nurullah.
Kemudian, dari komposisi pekerja lokal dan asing di pabrik tersebut juga timpang. Berdarkan pemeriksaan jumlah pekerja lokal hanya 30 persen, dan 70 persen pekerja asing. Nurullah menegaskan akan memanggil perusahaan yang mempekerjakan warga Tiongok secara ilegal ini.
